The Montgomeryshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers have been meeting continuously in Montgomeryshire since 1973 to share their love and skills for preparing and using fibre.
Felicity and the Guild are co-hosting with Machspace for this open event to show their equipment and share their knowledge with us. Visit Machspace for demonstrations and to have a go at spinning, peg-loom weaving, and rigid-heddle weaving. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask guild members questions about joining the guild yourself.
As it’s an open day, Machspace will be open to the public, and we invite you to read our open day rules before attending.
It’s pay-as-you-feel, so anyone can attend regardless of income, and donations are very welcome. There will also be pay-as-you-feel refreshments.
